The right picture shows the (New) Castro Theatre in 429 Castro Street. Marius sent us this wonderful
interior picture, shot Saturday January 30 2010 (more about this wonderful movie house can be found at
Wikipedia ).
The left one Sabrina just sent: First opened in January, 1932, the Cathay Cinema is the oldest and one of the very
few Art Deco style cinemas that are still surviving in modern China.
Hi family, friends and accidental visitors,
This is a small family site. Step by step I will add pictures (so we only have to mail the link instead of bursting the mail folder), stuff from the kids (drawings from Sabrina, links to her short films, stories from Katharina and Claudio) and this and that from my side. It's kind of a blog (as a retiree you have some time on the side for fancy stuff like this) and when you are interested in the irrelevant nosense have a look at Richard's Blog. Also some Excel / Access stuff and maybe one day a small database applications with Java, Derby or mySQL ... when I ever manage to get a grip on this stuff.
