Eine sehr schöne Performance. Anna spricht vier verschiedene Amerikaner. Passend zu Claudios Diplom Thema!

Deb Roy: The birth of a word

I can't believe that sh**. From "gaaaa" to "water" or how a MIT guy develops in the quest of his sons speach development the landscape of communication.
A modern form of 1984 - this must be a hoax!
Hope I'm not wrong -:)

Pamela Meyer: How to spot a liar

Steven Johnson: Where good ideas come from

JJ Abrams (creator of "Lost") on the "Mystery Box"

Okay, so to screenwriters this is not exactly anything new - but the way it is presented by JJ Abrams - doing just what movies ought to do: making "abstract" ideas tangible - gets the piont across so vividly and directly that it'd be treason on my craft if I didn't post this right after watching it (although I haven't seen one single episode of Lost and am not a great fan of mission impossible 3). Go take a look.

Elizabeth Gilbert on Genius

Dan Pink on the surprising science of motivation

Claudio's pick is a wonderful short (all TED talks are about 18 minutes) lecture on motivation and what companies are doing wrong in the 21st century. Both concise and funny: you can enjoy it as a standup performance. Something only Americans are able to bring together. Being Al Gore's' speechwriter, Dan Pink is especially good at this.
